A normally open (NO) pressure switch that closes an electrical circuit when air pressure is applied.

Function: Most commonly serves as the Stop Light Switch, turning on the rear brake lights when the driver presses the brake pedal (air pressure builds in the application line). It can also function as a low-air warning switch depending on the specific PSI setting and location.

Location: Threaded into the brake foot valve (treadle valve) or air distribution manifold.
