Since this list is extensive, the fastest way to find your code is to press Ctrl + F (on Windows) or Command + F (on Mac) and type your SPN number into the search bar.
Before you can fix the problem, you need the SPN (Suspect Parameter Number) and FMI (Failure Mode Identifier). You don't always need a scanner; you can often read them directly from the dashboard.
- Park the truck and set the parking brake. Turn the key to the ON position (engine off).
- Use the Steering Wheel Controls (+ / - buttons).
- Scroll until you see "Park Menu" or the Wrench Icon on the screen.
- Select "Diagnostics" and press Enter (OK).
- Select "Fault Codes" or "Active Faults".
- The screen will display the SPN and FMI (e.g.,
SPN 3216 FMI 13).
- Turn the key to ON.
- Locate the Mode/Reset buttons on the dash (often to the right of the steering wheel).
- Press and hold Mode until the display changes to "Diag" or "Faults".
- Press Mode again to cycle through codes.
- Codes often flash in a sequence: SYS (System) → SPN → FMI.
In the GHG14 ACM2.1 system, "color codes" refer to the severity of the dashboard lamps. The color tells you how urgent the repair is.
- SPN 3216 / 3226: Inlet/Outlet NOx Sensor Drift/Failure.
- SPN 3364: Improper DEF Quality.
- SPN 3719: Soot Level High (Regen required).

Do not drive. Check vital fluids (Oil, Coolant). If levels are fine, it is likely a sensor failure or mechanical blockage. Tow recommended.
- Perform a Parked Regen if the DPF light is on.
- Check DEF Fluid: Ensure it is topped up and not contaminated.
- Check Battery: Weak batteries cause "Ghost Codes".
