Parts Cross Reference

Automann, Inc. warrants that its parts and products are manufactured by the best manufacturers in the automotive industry world-wide, and meet required specifications generally accepted for that part.

Automann also warrants all new products against defective material or workmanship for one (1) year or 100,000 miles or 18 months from the date of sale from Automann, whichever comes first, unless noted otherwise.

Warranty will not apply to conditions resulting from misuse, negligence, alterations, accidents or improper installation, maintenance or subject to abnormal conditions of use. Automann will, at its sole option, repair or replace those parts which are found to be defective in either material or workmanship providing that actual notification is received in writing from the buyer of the alleged defect. Time is of the essence and failure to provide such written notice within thirty (30) days will fully and completely release Automann and its distributors from any obligation or liability for that breach of warranty.

Automann’s liability is limited to replacement or repair of such parts that have been found defective by us and will not cover any labor charges or any consequential or incidental damages or expense arising from their use.

Except as set forth-herein, and except as to title, it is expressly agreed (A) that there is no warranty or merchantability or fitness of a particular purpose, nor other warranty, expressed, implied or statutory, nor any affirmation of fact, or promises by Automann and its Distributors with reference to the goods which extend beyond the specifications, if any mutually agreed upon by Automann and its distributors and the buyer and (B) that buyer acknowledges that it is purchasing the goods solely on the basis of the commitments of Automann and its distributors expressly set forth herein. No person is authorized to change or add to any of Automann and its distributor’s obligation under this warranty. In no event shall Automann and its distributors be liable for anticipated profits or for incidental or consequential damages.

Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold Automann and its distributors harmless from and against any loss, injury or damages, to person or property that extends beyond the warranties set forth above, whether the claim against Automann and its distributors is incidental or consequential.

Bumper Warranty

Automann offers a limited warranty on all chrome and stainless steel bumper products for a period of 1 (one) year from invoice date. The bumpers are warranted for 1 (one) year against defects in workmanship or materials. Exposure to corrosive environments, accidents, neglect or other abnormal service conditions void the limited warranty. Our liability is limited to replacement or repair of such parts that have been found defective by us and will not cover any labor charges or any consequential or incidental damages or expense arising from their use.

Step and Tool Boxes Warranty

Step Boxes and Tool Boxes must be mounted using external mounting brackets that support the base of the unit. Failure to do so may void the warranty.

OTC Jacks Warranty

The misuse of OTC Jacks will void the warranty. OTC Jacks are not to be used as Jack Stands. The warranty does not cover any OTC Product that has been abused, altered, worn out, contaminated, rusted, heated, ground, damaged due to side loading, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with Service Solutions/ OTC’s instructions regarding use.
